The goals of Sun Valley’s Christian education ministry have remained the same through out the years. To build our educational offerings around the needs of our congregation and community in a way that will draw people of all ages to a better understanding of God through Christ, and a closer relationship with Him. In our quest to meet this goal we intend to provide the following:

Sunday school classes that fill the needs of people of all ages in our congregation and community with quality curriculum and instruction. 

To provide a Church Family retreat that both educates and builds community among our members. 

To provide a Vacation Bible School that meets the needs of our Church family and the community in which we live. 

To provide a quality library filled with books and videos that will contribute to the spiritual and educational growth of our congregation, as well as a wide variety of books, which are simply a pleasure to read. 

To publicize our events and put an article in the Echoes every month. 

We invite anyone with an interest in participating in the mission of Christian education to join us; we meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the lounge.

March 22 – Sunday school breakfast all are welcome.
           28 – Movie night for adults and children
May 1, 2, - Church Family Retreat
              Friday the 1^st, spaghetti dinner class & game night; 6:00 to midnight,
              Saturday the 2^nd classes special guests, food and fun at Girl Scout Center
              in Big Hill Park 3:00 – 8:00
April 10 – Good Friday day camp
June 7 - Children's Day (Last day of Sunday school)
July 27 - 31 - Vacation Bible School
September - 
          6 -     Rally Day Program in fellowship hall followed by cookies and juice. 
                 Picnic after worship service.
          13 -   Bible Day Third grade class receives bibles during worship.
          13 -   Teacher Recognition Teachers are recognized during worship service.
October 25 - UNICEF Party Sunday Afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00
November - 8,15- Food Day for CARITAS  Bring can goods and other
                   nonperishable  foods
              29 – First Sunday in Advent
December 6 -  Second Sunday of Advent / Advent Adventure Meal and Program
