MEMORIAL FUNDS
UNDESIGNATED FUND
We recommend persons seriously consider placing monies in this fund first. These monies would be used where needed most. This fund is used at the discretion of the Memorial - Endowment Committee.
The following is a list of current funds where monies have been designated.
These monies are used to give at least one scholarship to one of our members each year.
CHURCH MUSIC FUND
These monies are used to purchase music for the Westminster Choir.
YOUTH CHOIR MUSIC FUND
These monies are used to purchase music for our Sunbeams (children’s) Choir.
CLAVINOVA FUND
This money will be used to purchase a Clavinova for the Fellowship Hall.
FLAG POLE & FLAG FUND
These monies will be used to purchase flags as needed for the Outdoor Veteran’s Flag Display.
MATTIE SIEBEL MEMORIAL FUND
These monies are used to purchase Baptism and Wedding Bibles for members of the church.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION FUND
These monies will be used to purchase needed supplies and equipment for the Sunday school.
LANDSCAPING FUND
These monies will be used to for the provision and care and maintenance of plants, flowers, and shrubs on the church ground.
CHURCH LIBRARY FUND
These monies will be used to maintain and upgrade the church library.
CHURCH EQUIPMENT FUND
This fund provides equipment for the church office, for Christian Education, for custodial work, etc.
CONTINUING EDUCATION FUND FOR THE PASTOR
These monies will be used to supplement the Continuing Education Account for the pastor, to assist in paying for perhaps costly educational events for the pastor.
BUILDING AND GROUNDS FUND
These monies will be used to pay for needed work done on the building or grounds of the church.
FLOWER FUND
This fund provides flowers for worship, and for other functions in the life of the church. It may be used to provide special arrangements and displays at the holidays.
