The Members of Sun Valley's Stewardship Committee include Tim O'Brien (chairperson), Ken Rehard, and Tim Whitney.  We meet on the 2nd Monday of every month at 7:00 pm.  We would be delighted to have more members join us.  We hope to see you there!

What does the Stewardship Committee do?

The Stewardship Committee educates the congregation about stewardsip (giving to the church) through Minutes for Mission and articles in the Echoes.  It is the responsibility of the Stewardship Committee to promote giving through Minutes for Mission, posters, banners, articles in the Echoes, displays in the Narthex, letters, the Annual Stewardship Dinner, etc.  The Stewarship Committee is in charge of promoting special offerings such as One Great Hour of Sharing during Lent and the Christmas Joy offering.  It is also the job of the Stewardship Committee to aid the Finance Committee by promoting regular giving and maintenence of members' pledges.
